Correct, you can't print via serial, and there are not any OS X drivers from Epson for the 700. >The Epson printer has both serial and parallel ports, >so is there a way I can adapt, or work around, in >order to avoid the problem of an Epson paper weight, >and the expense of a new printer? I use an Inland USB-parallel adapter ($20) to attach my Epson 600 to a CompUSA USB/FW card ($20) in my Beige G3. I use the Epson drivers from Gimp-Print (priceless) and it all works quite well. -- __________________________ Phil Lefebvre Chicago, IL -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
