Yes, they're pretty good. Also, if you get a free ADSL modem, you could use an old 486 PC and the Smoothwall Linux distribution, which is a dedicated firewall and VERY easy to set up. It's free. 20MB download, and I've installed it by opening the ISO in DiskImage, dragging the .TGZ files to /System/Library/WebServer/ Documents (or whatever) and installing over HTTP from OS X's Apache server. Don't even need to burn the CD!
