Hi list-
A few days ago, someone mentioned that updating from 10.2.5 to 10.2.6 caused a problem. Is this a general problem? I have been upgrading from 10.2.2 thru to 10.2.5 without a problem. using the automatic update and I'm on a S900 with a Sonnet G4/450. Is XpostFacto not functional with 10.2.6 or was that a problem of one person with a particular configuration? I just saw the post about 10.3 and I understand that as a different problem.

No, this is not a general problem. It only happens for some people for unknown reasons. I had a major issue with the 10.2.5 upgrade and had to do an archive and re-install to fix things. No idea why ,that was the first upgrade to have the issue for a number of people. 10.2.6 installed no problem for me. XPFacto doesn't seem to be a factor as people with new Macs also had the problem. For some reason downloading the full combo installers have been more trouble free and are also the fix for people who had issues. Apple isn't talking if they know what the problem is. Again while it's a fair amount of people who have these problems most people don't have an issues with the installs. Will S
