I think that my mistake was to install ATI last driver for this card overwriting maybe any driver that Mac OS 10.2.6 already installed.
Do I have to reinstall Mac OS X, any ideas suggestions will be much appreciated.
That was the problem, but the cure is pretty simple: just download and re-apply the 10.2.6 combo updater and all will be fine.
