Do you have other burning software such as Toast? If yes you can get almost any fast inexpensive IDE burner, put it in a firewire case and you're good to go. This can be done for less than $100. If you want to burn directly from iTunes then you have to get one that is compatible. I think Apple has a list of compatible drives on their website but not sure how accurate it is.
