I managed to install Jaguar on my 8600 (turned out as my CD was lightly scratched and my CD reader couldn't read it properly...)
It ROCKS !
But now I'm seeing something that I call "mouse droppings" on screen. I'll explain: when I move the mouse (mostly seen on the desktop screen), I can see small dots where the pointer was.
I also noticed that on 9.1, the selection (as when you select a chunk of text) isn't completely in the same color. I can take a picture of it with my digital camera if it's necessary.
