I updated to .8 the day it came out, before it was taken down, and have not had any major troubles. I've had two "panics" since .8 which is a little more often than with .6, (though I must admit I had DW MX, Fireworks MX, Word, Excel, VPC, Mail, Safari, Firebird, iChat and maybe something else open and heavily used at the same time. )

Interesting. I used Sonnet to install but I find XPostFacto seems more reliable booting: I sometimes have to use it for switching from 9 to X because Startup Disk X hangs. What do other people do?
