I just updated to xPostFacto 3.0a10 and it seemed very much improved
over 3.0a9. It "updated" and deleted a number of startup items, and the
verbose boot dialog was very different; much cleaner and shorter than
in the past. Some of the information in the verbose startup was better
also. Unfortunately, one of my SCSI drives is still not mounting, but
it's my OS 9.2 drive which I almost never use. I suspect the drive not
mounting has something to do with way "option" booting no longer boots
into OS 9.2? For me, it starts to boot OS 9.2 with the smiley Mac, and
then restarts again into OS X, but from an onboard SCSI drive rather
than the Firewire drive I normally use. I've pulled the battery and
reset the CUDA, and I still can't get the "option" boot into OS 9.2.
The Firewire booting has been a Godsend. Ryan Rempel was the sender.
Thanks ever so much Ryan, Kris Tilford
