Yesterday I must have done something to my system which now makes it impossible to boot into OS 9.1, but OS X 10.2.8 continues to function OK. When I try booting my PM8500 with the option key down, all I get are grey screens on my 2 monitors. I get no messages, symbols, etc. If I have Mac OS 9.1 system CD disk loaded and try booting from it by holding the C key down while restarting, the same thing happens. Only grey. Under OS 10.8.2 I used Disk Utility to verify all partions on my HDs, but it found no problems. I suspect that the problem was caused by my downloading of scanning software for use under OS 9 and then copying the installers to my OS 9 partition (while in OS 10.2.8). I have since deleted those files. What steps should I try to fix this problem?

                Thanks in advance,
                                        Doug Throp
