I have a Powermac 9600 with a Sonnett G4 700 upgrade card, running OS 9.1 with 480 mg of ram and a ATI Radon 7000 video card. I have a 18 gig SCSI (barracuda) with just the system folder and XpostFacto3.0a11 on it as the boot drive I have the stock 4 gig drive partitioned to a 3 gig and 1 gig drive. My intentions are to install Panther and classic on the 3 gig and OS 9.1 on the 1 gig partition. I am having a problem getting the OSX installer to run, I start XpostFacto3.011 select "start in OSX" option, select the OSX cd and choose "install from cd" the machine then has a confirm installation screen then it loads some extensions on the 3 gig volume the reboots. The reboot seems to hang for about 20 seconds then OS9.1 starts. I do not have error messages coming up and the machine seems to run fine in this state. This is my first attempt at an upgrade so any help would be greatly appreciated!
