In the recent discussion on ATI cards/drivers between Will and Simon,
Will said, "You also need the Oct 2002 ATI Retail update from ATI for
OS 9.x. Installing this update in OSX is a mistake as OSX from 10.2
onward has the latest ATI drivers which are newer then this update." I
think I might have made this mistake; I have the .sit file in my
downloads folder, but I don't remember if I installed it. How can I
find out? I currently have a Rage 128 installed but will soon (arriving
today) be replacing it with the Radeon 7000, and I want to be sure I'm
getting the maximum fromm this card. If you did install the outdated
drivers, how would you go about replacing them with the most recent?
