Hi all,

I'm back on the XPostFacto trail again after a while out of the loop. Well I am the (very) proud owner of a 9600 PowerMac with a G3/300 and 504MB of RAM. I initially put a 4.3GB Seagate Medalist 50-pin drive in and partitioned it 512MB/3.8GB and installed OS 9.1 on the small bit and OS X 10.2 on the large bit. Today however I received a 9GB 68-pin Medalist (almost identical apart from the plug) , which I eventually intend to hang on an OS X supported ACARD U2W card along with 2 other Cheetahs.

Basically I hung the 9GB on the 50-pin bus and it worked a treat. Nuked and paved it and erased it in OS X. Thought 'If I use this as a boot drive I could use that 4GB in another older Mac) so I grabbed CCC and tried to clone it.

The new copt on the 9GB drive won't boot at all. The screen sits blank for ages on reboot than it goes to the old gray screen and boots into 9.1 on the other drive. The other copy of 10.2 still works fine.

I have tried telling XPostFacto to re-install the Extensions and BootX on the drive but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas?
