glen, Im guessing yr Adaptec Card is SCSI
try ATTO Express PCI PSC or DC single channel or dual channel for SCSI drives. Guaranteed to work, Ive got a PSC working in Jag and Panther. Its only Ultra Wide... but ive gotten good disk access jumps (using Xbench) from the internal SCSI which is on my PM8600 (fast SCSI Narrow) If you are not SCSI, then I cannot help you.. i have no experience cheers!
