We've just bought a Pioneer DVR 107 to put into one of our PCs (ptewy!!), just for the hell of it I plugged it into G3 ATA Bus 2 and system profiler shows correct drive type, disc burning supported/shipped under Panther. Supplied DVD mounts on desktop and seems to function fine
Toast 5.2.3 also reports correct info as well.
Taking drive home tonight to plug into my G5 and if interested will tell what happens at home - I would assume all is well there too.
