CarbonLib problem?

I had OSX 10.2.8 on this laptop (Wallstreet) when I got it, I have 
tried for many months to get Panther on it and finally got it on this 
weekend with the latest XPF, but the install didn't complete fully.  It 
did finally boot and I applied all of the updates and now have it to 
10.3.4.

Now some of my applications (like Snak (irc)) won't load, I get an 
error like:
The application "Snak" could not be launched because of a shared 
library error: "<Snak><Snak><CarbonLib><>"

Is there a way to reinstall the Carbon section and fix this or do I 
have to blow everything away and start all over?
