XPostFacto3.0b2 is out and I gave it a try on my BeigeG3 and one of my 7500's.

On the Beige I was unable to get it to launch under 10.3.4 without Unexpectedly Quitting. I tried several different different installations of 10.3.4 on several different drives, and all quit almost immediately after the password was entered. It did run under Tiger preview 10.4 in the same quirky way that 3.0b1 does whereby it "can't save changes to the XPF preferences file because the file is open or in use" and then won't Restart unless you press the "cancel" option, but after all that it is fine and normal. It did work from OS 9.2.2. XPF3.0b1 worked normally on all the drives that 3.0b2 wouldn't.

On the 7500 it did work from 9.2.2 to boot to a 10.3.4 drive, but for some strange reason the monitor (onboard video) was black after the 1st boot, scrambled after the second, and normal on the third? When I went back to the 9.2.2 drive using XPF3.0b2 running under 10.3.4 to switch back to 9.2.2, the monitor was also black on the first boot, and normal on the second. On all these boots where the monitor was black or scrambled I waited for the HD to stop clattering after the normal startup time period, and then pressed Power followed by Return to initiate a Shutdown, and then hit Power again to Restart directly. Nothing changed except the monitor status as far as I could tell, but since I use verbose startup it was apparent early if things were different each time. The first boot was entirely black, the second entirely scrambled, and the third entirely normal in OS X.
