Dear List: I recently installed OS 10.2.8 on a friend's Power Mac 8500 using the most recent version of XPostFacto. The 8500 has a Sonnet G3 350 processor upgrade card, a Radeon 7000 video card, 320 MB of RAM, a Seagate 4GB SCSI drive, and a 40 GB ATA drive attached to a Sonnet Tempo Trio card. Everything was working fine for the past couple of weeks and then the computer went to sleep. I tried restarting the computer several times, but nothing happened. The computer starts up without a startup chime and I can hear the hard drives whirring to life. Beyond that, the monitor remains off and the keyboard lights on the ADB keyboard also remain off.
Any ideas about what to do about this situation?
