I have a Powerbook G4 that is basically Dead, because part of the Motherboard was crushed in an accident, if I were to find a new Motherboard, would I be able to put it in and have it run?

The only way to know in advance is to send it to a tech and have it totally checked out, i.e., all circuits must be checked for integrity. A crushed motherboard is catastrophic damage. It's hard to imagine that it was the only thing affected.

If it was turned on at the time, it's highly unlikely because other circuits could have been shorted out and destroyed as well. If it was off and there is no apparent damage to any other parts, then there is a chance. But, if in fact there is unseen damage to other circuits, mounting a new motherboard could potentially short itself out and you'll lose it too.

HTH,
Ken N.
