AV Social Film Remix
8pm - 1am, 3rd March 2007

Roxy Bar and Screen
128-132 Borough High Street
London SE1 1LB

After four ground breaking runs at Clerkenwell House,
The AV Social is moving venue in its quest to cater for
challenging new genres of audiovisual performance.
Its next few stops are scheduled at Roxy Bar and Screen,
for a series of film remix and cinema jockey nights.

As the flagship event for VJ Anyone's brand new label Ne1co,
The AV Social quickly established itself as a not-to-be-missed night
for all moving images and electronic beats enthusiasts to network
as well as view cutting edge AV work. Previous AV Social line-ups
included
Meat Katie, The Light Surgeons, AlexEtJeremy, Eclectic Method, D-
Fuse,
Dylan Rhymes, Ben Sheppee, 4yourEye, as well as Ne1co regulars like
Bopa, Lazerboy and Tom Real.

For the first AV Social night at Roxy on 03 March,
VJ Anyone has programmed a hip line-up of cinematic acts.
At the headline is the UK premiere of THX 1138 Remix,
a joint AV performance between Motorboy (Ne1co/Berlin),
Dennis Dezenn (Marseille), and VJ Anyone, paying homage to
George Lucas' first retro futuristic feature film.

Playing up the film genre as well, G-Pilot is scheduled to
deconstruct
a plethora of narratives samples with his solo DVJ set.

Churning even more work from their long standing creative
partnership,
Motorboy and VJ Anyone will also be serving on Roxy's first AV Social
event,
a film screening containing many titles from their film cut-up series
No More Heroes Anymore, probing the role of celebrity culture in
Hollywood film.

As the Roxy Bar and Screen is slightly smaller in capacity than
Clerkenwell House
(although more suited for the cinematic genre), do expect the venue
to fill in quickly,
so come early to be guaranteed a seat!
