Deadline € Deadline is ongoing. € Participants are encouraged to submit their work as soon as possible. Location The series will take place at Monkeytown (http://www.monkeytownhq.com) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. € This unique video space contains four full walls of simultaneous projection, bed style seating, and will include a dining experience of gourmet, raw, vegan cuisine at each screening of RAW. Guidelines / Limitations € All genres, styles, and forms of video will be considered. € No music videos. € Work must be under 20 minutes. Submission Details € Mini DV (NTSC), QuickTime files, & DVDs are the optimal formats for submission. € Include a brief Synopsis, Bio, and Contact Information. € Provide SASE if work needs to be returned. Fees € Free. There are no official entry forms or entry fees. € Unfortunately, artist fees cannot be paid at this time. About RAW: VIDEO ART RAW is the first international Video Art series in Brooklyn, NY. The successful launch event took place on August 12th, 2007 at Monkeytown in Williamsburg. This ongoing series will feature work from the best international & domestic video artists in all genres, forms, and styles. Curated by Joshua Katcher (curator of Spark Video: Beacon in Beacon, NY & co-curator of Spark Video: International & Spark: Home Video in Syracuse, NY), RAW is the first Video Art event to incorporate fine dining.
