Hey PHP-ers, I know you have your own MVC frameworks, and are probably sick of hearing about Ruby and/or Rails. However, we are going to be meeting at the first ever MountainWest RubyCamp is this Saturday, from 1:00 to 4:00 at the Salt Lake City Library. You are of course welcome to attend and add to the event with presentations, code demos, and discussions. We would love to have you. Here is the info:
We will meet in the Level 4 meeting room located on the southwest corner of the building on 4th floor. MountainWest RubyCamp is a self-organizing gathering of Rubyists from the Mountain West region to share and learn about Ruby. The camp is similar to a BarCamp, and is a free event with discussions, demos, and interaction from all participants. MountainWest RubyCamp 2007 Saturday, November 17th, 2007 Salt Lake City Library Level 4 Meeting Room 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM If you are attendinig, please add your name to the following wiki entry: http://barcamp.org/MountainWestRubyCamp We would like an interesting mix of presentations, code demonstrations, and group discussions. Please prepare a short ~20 minute presentation if you would like to present. Or, brush up some of the code you would like to show. Or, just show up and enjoy the camp and join in on the discussion. We want to encourage Rubyists with various levels of experience and expertise to attend. So please forward this message to folks you know who might be interested in attending. We would like to have more of these events in the future, so it's important that we get a good turnout for this. Please let me know if you have ideas for how we can spread the word further. ~Mike _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net
