Ditto. Not that Rails is perfect but some things are pretty logical, ie:
id fields: fieldname _ id
2 syllable: either my_field (rails like) or myField (java like)
table name: plural (rails) or not - really your preference
class name: capitalize 1st letter (pretty standard)
file name: all small letters (pretty standard)
