I have RHCT & RHCE certifications. Since a person is required to actually do actual work on an actual system using actual RHEL, I feel Red Hat's certs are very respectable. It isn't a simulation nor a multiple-choice or questionare exam. If you can do (enough of) the work, you pass; otherwise, you don't. Simple as that. Also, RHCT/RHCE/RHCA, etc. are considered to be amongst the most well respected computer/IT certifications, period. Not just in Linux, but even when compared to Sun, Cisco, and so forth. So, I would have to say, the RHCE is a good idea. -- Lamont Peterson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Founder [ http://blog.OpenBrainstem.net/peregrine/ ] GPG Key fingerprint: 0E35 93C5 4249 49F0 EC7B 4DDD BE46 4732 6460 CCB5 ___ ____ _ _ / _ \ _ __ ___ _ __ | __ ) _ __ __ _(_)_ __ ___| |_ ___ _ __ ___ | | | | '_ \ / _ \ '_ \| _ \| '__/ _` | | '_ \/ __| __/ _ \ '_ ` _ \ | |_| | |_) | __/ | | | |_) | | | (_| | | | | \__ \ || __/ | | | | | \___/| .__/ \___|_| |_|____/|_| \__,_|_|_| |_|___/\__\___|_| |_| |_| |_| Intelligent Open Source Software Engineering [ http://www.OpenBrainstem.net/ ]
