FWIW, it works as expected for me on these browsers: Firefox/WinXP and
Firefox/Mac OS 10.4.11. But not on Safari for Mac. Weird.

I saw that behavior (c lights up when hitting 3 on the number pad) only
in Safari on Mac. On Firefox (Mac & Windows), IE and Safari on Windows
the correct numbers light up when pressing the corresponding number on
the number pad.
