Count me in for the race (on the CSS team).


I think the idea of a presentation is way better than a speed challenge - obviously there are others feeling the pain of CSS - realize that many of us don't spend much time on the UI designer side, and thus the learning curve is a steep issue. The floating paradigm is not too bad, browser implementation is a tougher issue. I've found that how browsers clear floats is another real issue

btw I tried out the design table stuff in CSS 3 (or is it 2) but I don't think browser support is very good yet so it was not satisfactory.

ps since I've moved, I hope the css layout presentation can be video casted.
