[UPHPU] jQuery attribute selector not working in Chrome

Has anyone experienced jQuery attribute selectors not working in Chrome?

On a particular page I am building…

$(this).find('[required=true]');


…grabs four items. This works in Safari and Firefox. Chrome selects  
nothing however. Arrrg.
