One more comment on an aspect that may not be obvious: You have to use 
the 'prefix' directive to tell the application where it lives in the 
main web server's URI space.  I believe this is covered in a suitably 
tutorial-y fashion in the manual, but when you come to understand where 
you've been going wrong, if you think the manual is missing some useful 
text, let me know what it is.
