Thanks so much Adam. I was was basing my code on the example in Fig. 1 A simple chat-room application which had a ; ending the dml function call:
fun say r =
dml (INSERT INTO message (Room,When,Text)
VALUES ({[id]},CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, {[r.Text]}));
Is there a difference between them which justifies adding a ; in one case,
but not the other?
