Dear all,
I am forwarding the Berkeley Planning Journal's annual call for papers. Cheers, Ilaria VOLUME 24, SUMMER/FALL 2011 ISSUE 24 CALL FOR PAPERS _The Berkeley Planning Journal_ (BPJ) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published annually by the graduate students in the Department of City and Regional Planning, at the University of California, Berkeley. Since its inception in 1985, the _BPJ_ has become a forum for emerging and well-established scholars to explore innovative directions in city planning, public policy, and urban theory. The _BPJ_ employs a range of formats, including scholarly articles, essays, policy briefs, commentaries, book reviews, and conversations with key practitioners or researchers. In the 24th Volume of the _Berkeley Planning Journal_, we aim to develop a broad selection of the best writing by new and emerging scholars. The call is purposefully open, defined solely by a general focus on space, place, planning, policy, history, theory, power, politics, technology, and capital. Authors are encouraged to be bold in their thinking and writing, and to focus on the contemporary. A timeline for abstract and paper submission deadlines will be made available on the website of the _Berkeley Planning Journal_ shortly, as will additional details about potential submissions.
