I am not sure what triggered you to educate me on Open
Source project and cross-platform projects. Probably you
are more experienced and are a real developer.
I am not a software developer but I am an active supporter of
Open Source Projects Actually I am one of the contributing
testers for projects which UrJtag/libftdi are based on.
I am one of the admins of libusb-win32 project and listed
in the THANKS file of libusb-1.0.

I am OS neutral. I use both Windows and Linux. I even
got two trivial patches committed in the Linux kernel.
I can use Linux to cross-compile UrJtag (will do that)
but I'd like to try out MinGW/Cygwin as well.

If others do not care about building under Windows, that is
certainly fine. I will spend the time to work around the problem
if I find the project useful or interesting to me.

Fair enough. Yes I am going to do the research.

Ok, I will shut up...
