Title: Business Analyst - Client Portfolio
Location: Oaks, PA Length: Fulltime Industry: Financial KEY EXPERIENCE: Must have experience in a Financial Transaction Team. Required: asset allocation, rebalancing to a target allocation, programmatic trading, order initiation, executed order processing, security movements and settlements, currency movements and settlements, electronic messaging. Built around a single framework for operations and technology, the Platform will allow SEI to: Offer common services that are standardized, automated and leveraged across multiple markets; Produce scale and efficiency benefits; Meet or exceed service quality standards; Support a wide range of value-added business services across markets; Migrate clients on legacy systems to the new BSP-business services; Assemble and offer services and solutions that meet disparate market needs on a global basis. In doing so, the new processing platform will enable SEI to access and enter new markets in a low cost, flexible manner and enable the extension of our existing technology services into a fully outsourced processing service in the US and global markets. As a member of the Global Wealth Management Team, the Business Analyst will work on Client Portfolio management business function within the Financial Transactions Team in defining and building the functional requirements to support SEI's technical platforms (client, intermediary and operational) and the underlying business processes. These platforms and processes include: Client platform: the technology and business processes that support SEI business units Intermediary platform: the technology and business processes that support SEI's intermediaries (advisors, enterprise and bank) Operational platform: the technology and business processes that supports SEI's middle office operational unit Relationship management collaboration: any process and technology that allows the interaction between the different interested parties using SEI's platforms (operations, intermediary, relationship management and end-investor) The Client Portfolio Management functionality supports the platform's ability to allow for the creation of investment strategies with assigned targets. The business function allows the ability to systematically rebalance to maintain the targeted investment composition. Location: This position is located in Oaks, PA, roughly 20 miles southwest of Philadelphia. Minimum of 5 years experience supporting complex application development, implementation and integration initiatives. Only candidates with a background in financial services, specifically domestic and global investment processing business and technology integration will be considered. Exposure to the following areas are required: Asset Allocation; Rebalancing to a target allocation; Programmatic Trading; Order Initiation, Executed Order Processing; Security Movements and settlement; Currency Movements and settlement; FX Trading; Electronic messaging (i.e. SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, FIX, etc.) A working knowledge of legal, regulatory and operating standards / protocols of both the global and domestic security industries a plus. Applicants must have extensive experience writing functional specs and use cases. Candidate must have knowledge of testing and complete defect life cycle. <=Responsibilities are varied depending upon business group but include: working with business and technical units to troubleshoot performance issues, work with solutions and product groups to define and build functional requirements for various technical platforms (client, intermediary and operational).
