Oracle Developer with Erwin, J2EE experience 8 months Austin TX MUST have Oracle, j2EE, Data warehouse and Erwin experience
• Performs systems analysis to evaluate applications and/or systems considering customer requirements, changes in systems requirements, software releases, equipment configurations, and relationships/dependencies between systems (e.g., analyzing federal and state regulations regarding automation, researching technical solutions, and performing needs assessments). • Development and maintenance of application databases to extract, cleanse, transform, load and maintain Portal data. • Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs. • Unit testing of developed solutions. • Write and update personal computer application programs. • Documents the design and system specifications. Prepares charts, diagrams, tables, and flowcharts for illustration. • Evaluates and recommends action on testing and certification of software/hardware upgrades. • Monitor the performance of systems, subsystems, and software applications. • Analyzes and assists in defining agency disaster recovery responsibilities and procedures. • Conducts orientations, training, coaching and/or cross training to multiple staff/team members regarding highly complex technical topics (e.g., elements of the project life-cycle, application development languages, operating systems/platforms, system integration, and business area knowledge). Provides feedback evaluations of project team members including strengths and areas for improvement. Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience 6+ Experience in the Information Technology industry. 5+ Experience with full SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) involvement from analysis and planning to development and deployment. 5+ Experience coding languages and environments including but not limited to SQL, PL/SQL, functions, packages, stored procedures. 4+ Experience in database optimization, performance tuning. 4+ Development experience with designing database components for specific application requirements. Experience maintaining and enhancing existing design for requirements change. 2+ Knowledge of Oracle tools including but not limited to Erwin diagram, data loading service, etc. 2+ Knowledge of best practices in the areas of application design, performance, scalability and maintainability. 2+ Working and developing applications on the J2EE application development platform for enterprise class projects.
