In the role as Business Analyst you will work with a fast-paced team to develop important eCommerce software solutions to reach business strategy goals. The business analyst captures systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. You will devise solutions considering user experience, business strategy goals, and the wide range of technical approaches available. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. • Responsible for defining requirements for eCommerce web site enhancements by using system requirement definition, use case development, test case development, conceptual and logical modeling, and class diagramming • Experienced with both waterfall and agile methodologies • Experienced with Quality Center or similar test case management tool • Knowledge of residential mortgage business processes and concepts • Extremely high level of sound logic and analytical ability where problems are very unusual and difficult • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions and market experience; ability to relate them to own organization • Acts as a liaison between application development and business units to provide analytical support and consulting on complex projects to ensure system and business requirements are clearly documented and understood during the design and development of the application • Ability to determine and meet customer expectations on solution development, progress reporting, and frequency of communication QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education: Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.
