Location: Richardson, TX Duration: 6 Months Description: Applicant must possess technical expertise and testing knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routers, specifically the Cisco ESR 10008 and GSR 12816 and Juniper M320 and T1600 Applicant must have lab testing experience on these platforms including extensive experience in writing test plans, executing test cases, a compiling a test exit report in an ISO9001 quality management standards environment Applicant will be a member of the test team responsible for testing the Cisco ESR 12.2(33)SB6 code which includes the IPv6 VPN feature, several fixes for customer affecting defects identified in the production network, and BGP enhancements to improve significantly the time it takes for a customers’ routing to re-converge when an outage occurs. This BGP enhancement is a critical requirement for several large accounts and high profile financial institutions. Applicant will be a member of the test team responsible for testing the Cisco CRS-1 router and a new code family (IOS-XR). The IOS-XR is the next-generation software code from Cisco, which will involve several complex intricacies to test and deploy successfully. Applicant will be a member of the test team responsible for testing new code and feature enhancements on the Juniper M320 and T1600 routers Cisco certifications such at CCNA, CCNA, CCIE, or the Juniper equivalents are a plus.
