*Location:* Dayton, OH *Duration: * 6 months *LOCAL CANDIDATES TO OHIO IS PREFERRED* the work entails transforming our internal XML documents via Style Sheets to another form of XML that conforms to a Schema. So, strong knowledge of data transformation using XML, Style Sheets, Schemas will be required. *XML Schema Modeler Job Description* - Experience in developing XML. - Experience in data and XML schema modeling, including concepts such as namespaces, restrictions, extensions, validation, and modularity. - Experience in translating/mapping relational data models into XML and Schemas. - Knowledge of XSLT, Xpath, Xquery, XML parsers. - Strong background in application and systems integration. - Working knowledge of web services and SOA architecture. - Understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle. - Some exposure in application development utilizing J2EE or .NET. - (nice to have) Experience utilizing XML databases (Oracle XML DB). - (nice to have) Insurance industry experience The breakdown of time spent on job tasks is, approximately: XML Schema & related activities (~50%); XSLT development/maintenance etc. (~25%); customer (in house)/user support, training, education related to work product (~25%).
