Skill Set; Java developer with Telecom EXP Duration: 6 months Contract Location: Dallas TX, We need an expert Java developer who can hit the ground running. Candidate would be heavily involved in development ,migration of a J2EE, JSP, EJB based application to .net platform. Candidate will also be involved in evaluation/identification of possible integration end points of the existing Java/J2EE based application with a .net based application. Candidate should have proven expertise and experience in - Java, J2EE, JSP, EJB, Struts. Candidate should have solid experience with database modeling tools and/or database interactions and should be able to apply that expertise to solve business problems. Existing experience and skill set with application data migration from Oracle to SQL Server will be important for this role. Candidate would be expected to have advanced knowledge of Java and Perl technologies, Candidate should have proven expertise and proficiency in evaluating systems specifications and business process functionality requirements and leverage that expertise to implement highly efficient and cost-effective software/package solutions. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing business and system requirements, development of new applications and enhance/extend functionality of existing applications. Candidate will be responsible for supporting system quality assurance and testing efforts for product and system roll outs and follow the installation and security policy and standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: analysis, coding, testing, programming, technical design, documentation, mentoring and expertise with new platforms and development environments.
