In order to accomplish this, United is looking for an MDM Data Quality Specialist. This person will be expected to work with a diverse team including several architects, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts from data domains, ETL developers, data quality analysts, data modelers, and DBA's so highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Five plus years of experience with implementing Master Data Management solutions and a minimum of 2 years working with the Customer domain will be needed. Specific experience with Tibco’s Collaborative Information Manager (CIM) using Trillium for data quality is highly desired. The Data Quality Specialist will be involved in profiling existing data sources at United Airlines. He/she will also be responsible for establishing the initial cleansing and standardization rules for the data domains. Due to this the individual must have experience working with the postal directories, the TS Discovery profiling tool, establishing workflows using the TS Quality Director, and establishing metrics using TS Insight. They must have a demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership in not only the Trillium software above but also with Red Hat Linux, Symantec Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), Veritas Global Cluster Option (GCO) and Oracle 10g.
