JOB DESCRIPTION: Open position for a senior level Solaris/Linux administrator with experience working in a large, complex IT infrastructure(s). Ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter and committed team player with strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills. REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE: 6 years experience building and supporting Solaris 8, 9 &10 on Sun Sparc Midrange platforms 6 years experience building and supporting either SUSE or RedHat Linux 5 years experience Host / SAN connectivity (required on both Linux and Solaris) 5 years experience supporting Veritas FS, VM, VCS and CFS (Must have experience in Veritas Clustering Suite) 3 years experience with Dell, HP or IBM blade servers 2 years experience configuring Solaris Zones Experience and working knowledge of Kickstart and Jumpstart PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: Some working knowledge of Oracle RAC / ASM Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss and other middleware related applications Shell scripting (Ksh, bash, or sh) Experience with Remedy or other ticketing systems.
