Location: *NYC, NY* LENGTH: 6 months *IBM* *Content* *Manager* *OnDemand* *Administrator* *Responsibilities* Financial services firm seeking an experienced *IBM* *Content* *Manager* * OnDemand* *Administrator* to support a major, firm-wide Document Management initiative. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual capable of administrating a new *OnDemand*platform, and facilitating a large-scale * content* migration effort. *Essential Job Functions:* * Configuration and overall management of *IBM* *Content* *Manager* * OnDemand* in a high-availability Linux environment. * Development of file plans, implementation of policies and meta-data schemes. * Performance tuning all software to maintain web-delivery performance. * Fostering best practices with development groups and other users; collaborating with developers to identify and resolve potential production impacting issues; collaborating with businesses to gain an understanding of business data requirements and, in turn, integrate business vertical operational document management needs into the ECM system; and perform like duties as required. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. * Four years experience with document management systems. * Three years experience with *IBM* *Content* *Manager* *OnDemand* in a distributed environment. * Experience with document migration strategies. * Working knowledge of *IBM* UDB, light administration. * Working knowledge of *IBM* Tivoli, light administration. * Working knowledge of ODWEK for application integration. o Programming experience in either Java (upwards of 1.5 EE) or .NET (upwards of v3.5). o The ideal candidate will be versed in both platforms. * Proven track record for implementing and overseeing all deployments and changes to the ECM to ensure proper change management processes are adhered to and documented. * Demonstrated experience performing operational procedures and maintaining records, developing and testing production utilities and capacity analysis -- Thanks & Regards Kevin Maripax Solutions | ke...@maripax.com www.Maripax.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
