5+ years of Java for mid-sized to large, notable companies.
(2000 employees)
* Lots of Spring and Hibernate experience.
* Oracle 10g or higher
* Vignette Portal development
* Experience using JSR-168 portlets
* Good listening and speaking skills.
We require Sr. Portal Developer with the following responsibilities:
* Participate in development of systems design; this includes
Specifying the component packaged and custom applications,
class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, etc
* Communicating risks and issues to project management
* Coding and designing application
* Using best practices for development
* Perform unit testing and fixes during testing Phase
* Create/document deployment procedures
* Create/document operational procedures
The resource will be responsible for the following deliverables:
* All documentation regarding system design
* Detailed System Architecture Diagram
* Data-flow Diagram
* Class Diagrams
* Activity and State Diagrams
* Component Diagrams
* Deployment Diagrams
* Configurations
* Build and unit tested modules for the system
* Use cases and misuse cases for handoff to QA team
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory
skills will not be considered.
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development for
large-scale enterprise systems;
* Experience in development and implementation of large-scale
enterprise internet/intranet J2EE systems.
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Spring and
Hibernate
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are required;
* Solid knowledge of testing tools and techniques;
* Practical knowledge of commercial portals (preferably Vignette)
and at least 3 years of hands-on experience of portal application
development using JSR-168 portlets
* Hands on experience with Oracle database;
* Strong experience working with WebLogic or other enterprise
application servers.
* Strong knowledge of SQL and database design;
* Strong knowledge of object-oriented methodology
* Knowledge of MQ client / JMS API
* Experience working with the following technologies:
* Commercial Application Portal (preferably Vignette)
* Oracle
* SQL
* BEA WebLogic
* UNIX
* JSP/Servlets
* Hibernate
* XML/XSL
