The qualified candidate will provide leadership in analyzing and collaborating on business opportunities* and IT-based solutions for a business or clinical area that are projected to deliver significant business value and for initiatives that may require a change to IT&S infrastructure, current business/clinical processes or present significant technical or operational risk. Work with other key project team members to define requirements, design the functional solution, identify and resolve project issues, and ensure the IT solution meets requirements. *EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * College Graduate with 3 or more years of relevant work experience* *SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS* * Experience with MEDITECH or other clinical information system vendor's Laboratory and Blood Bank applications desired. * Medical Technologist license preferred. * Knowledge of Laboratory department operational processes including regulations desired. * Business analysis experience in an application development environment -- either provider organization or vendor -- will be considered. Candidate must also be detailed oriented, have good organizational skills, possess strong leadership, follow-through and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and possess strong collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills. *PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS* *Requires extensive and prolonged sitting at PC.
