Need: SIP contractors 3 Positions. Location: Philly PA. Rate: $open Here are the functions of the contractors: . Assist with the validation of proof-of-concept designs (IMS and SIP) and initial software releases from vendor as part of Product Engineering design validation efforts . Identify issues with the solutions, and raise them to the vendor s through the appropriate Comcast processes . Work with the vendors and other PE staff to determine solutions (technical approach and also strategy for resolution) for identified issues . Assist with the creation of the Comcast solution design documentation, including Technical Requirement Document (TRD) and Detailed Design Document (DDD), as directed by Voice PE staff . Work with vendors and other Comcast teams such as Operations, Business Units, CTO office to review the TRD and DDD, and to reach common alignment . Support Comcast Quality Assurance and Operations for technical issues. . Technical knowledge perspective - SIP and IMS are critical. Ability to do hand-on work is critical. The main skills needed are: 1) Deep SIP knowledge. Candidate needs to be able to look at call traces and know if they are correct or not 2) Experience with the deployment and design of IMS architectures. 3) Knowledge of and experience with PC 1.5 and 2.0 architectures. 4) Knowledge of NENA E911 and 911 services in VoIP networks 5) Knowledge of CALEA in IMS/PC networks 6) Ability to work with multiple groups to bring together a complete solution.
