Location : Portland, OR Skillset Informatica\ Duration 9 mths No of positions 4 Start 2 on Jan 18 2 on Feb 8 Rate 40 Specs *0.* General and Communication requirements: · Good analytical and problem solving skills. · Pro-active and self driven: To be able to help others, be able to say “No” when he/she does not know something, ask for help when needed, and NOT to sit on issue/problem. · Good communication: Verbal and Written · Team Player *1.* Experience with Informatica 8.xx with experience/knowledge in the following areas: · Use of parameter files, reusable sessions and workflows. · Working experience using flat files, xml files, sql server, and oracle tables as Informatica sources and/or targets. · Working knowledge connecting Informatica to SAP: Understanding of idocs, xml iDOCS, BAPI and infospokes etc. · Experience debugging code. · Experience working with and writing SQL statements to understand and analyze the data in relational databases. · Performance tuning experience. · Knowledge of Industry best practices and standards for Informatica development objects. *2.* Familiarity and experience with SAP is a plus. *3.* Familiarity with unix environment including: · Browsing through directory structures in unix · ftp’ing files from unix to windows & vice-a-versa. · Knowledge about unix groups and roles with an understanding of permissions on files and folders at unix level. · Familiarity with folder structure for Informatica at unix level to be able to work with source, target and parameter files. *4.* Understanding about Testing and Documentation needs for integration development. · Ability to write a good tech spec with the func spec as input · Be able to understand the requirements and document appropriate test cases for unit testing the code. · Experience with MS Word, Excel and Visio. -- Looking forward to work with you.....
