*Please send resume to [email protected]* Location : Southern CA Duration : 6+ Months Rate : Open The Sr. Programmer Analyst works as part of a team responsible for new application development and/or improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of our business. Specific assignments may include application design and development, coding for enhancements and fixes, testing, maintenance and support. This role will work directly with the Enterprise Data Warehouse and should have documented experience working on BI projects utilizing data warehouse/datamart environments. This role will work directly with IT staff, as well as interfacing with power users within the business to implement new MicroStrategy subject areas via Architect and develop complex dashboards and reports. Production support on existing MicroStrategy Models and objects will also be required. *Required Skills:* Advanced knowledge of application design principles, systemsdevelopment and analysis Previous experience with end-to-end development of MicroStrategy dashboards Experience with wire-framing and dashboard development Experience with report distribution methodology's 5+ years of experience in MicroStrategy dashboard & reporting development Understanding of data modeling and data modeling concepts specific to MicroStrategy Prior experience using a structured methodology (ie. RUP, Agile) Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand Ability to work directly with business clients and demonstrated customer focus. The ability to create a positive and professional business relationships with clients *Technical Skills (Required)* . Advanced MicroStrategy skills (Administration, Architect, Desktop,Web, Report Services, etc) version 8 and above . Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL *Technical Skills (Preferred)* . Actuate Development Skills. . Experience with Unix . Experience with PL/SQL .
