Project Name: Software (sql,.net) Project Location: FOLSOM, CA Length of Engagement:12 weeks Primary Skill:MS SQL Server Other Skills: .NET; Crystal Reports; DBA-SQL; PERL; VISUAL BASIC; Win Client is looking mainly on: · a strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 · an emphasis on data transformation and loading using SQL Server Integration Services packages (SSIS) · working knowledge in the creation of complex SQL queries for use in SQL Server Reporting Services · working knowledge in the creation of DML scripts that make use of transactions and stored procedures · a solid understanding of relational data modeling concepts Necessary Skills (Must Have): Must possess several years experience with recent versions of either MS SQL Server or MySQL or both, including installation, configuration, schema design, and maintenance in MS Windows environment The person will be responsible for updating design schema based on user requirements and be able to implement updated solutions. Proficiently code in SQL as well as at least one of popular DB-accessible languages, like .NET, VB, and Perl Expertise in developing web based front end to data mine / search database Experience with tools to import and export data from DB Must possess experience Crystal Reports to generate custom reports from exported DB via UI. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will be interfacing with 2 groups that will share a common database. In addition, candidate will be presenting design schema to these groups as stakeholders. Lastly, candidate will need to document all development efforts.
