Position Description:  

 

BS and 8+ years experience This position is the highest level and lead web
support engineering role. Directs application installations and supports the
online site infrastructure to ensure optimum performance, availability and
security of the "front-end" environment.  As the lead project engineer,
provides 3rd level support for the resolution of highly complex, technical
problems involving web sites and e-commerce applications and their
integration into the bank's existing online site.  Directs large-scale
application implementations from proof of concept through testing and
installation.  Directs statistics gathering and analysis to participate in
determining hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support
projected transaction volumes and response time and system availability
targets. Evaluates, develops, customizes and utilizes advanced system
administration tools.  Collaborates with and is considered an expert
technical resource for enterprise partners on issues and initiatives that
impact the infrastructure. Trains engineering staff; leads and provides
direction to less experienced web support engineers.

 

Production support web support engineer providing 7X24 expert technical
support and consultation for WebLogic, MQ Series Messaging, and Sun One
Webservers running on Solaris 10. Position also requires significant
experience with Big IP F5 Load Balancer administration, shell scripting for
alerting and alarming on applications.
