Position: Build / Release automation Engineer Location: Burlingame, CA Duration: 6 plus months contract position. *Job Description* we are seeking a talented Software Build Release Engineer to work on a multi-company software effort developing advanced communications technology *Core Competencies & Accomplishments:* - Deep knowledge in release engineering & automation for large scale customer facing systems - Exceptional technical and non-technical presentation and communication skills - Proven ability to lead a team of highly technical software/systems engineering staff and earn trust of team members and stakeholders - Proven knowledge of release engineering, automation, tools to support application development lifecycle and project management discipline - Significant technical experience in release automation engineering, Continuous Integration, DevOps, software/systems developer, software development & release engineering manager, or related role - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field *Qualifications:* A minimum of 5 years’ experience with build and source control tools and processes (such as Maven and Subversion), Java standards used for implementation of enterprise software. Such as J2EE; Java Persistence API, (JPA)/Hibernate and Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) and frameworks (i.e. MVC architecture, Struts, Spring) Java IDE's IntelliJ, Eclipse, or other, Object-oriented design concepts (OOA/D/P, UML), Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 concepts, Unix/Linux operating kernel and familiarization with scripting language. - Experience using GNU build chain tools (including gcc, ld, gdb, make, etc) - Highly skilled in all aspects of Git and Subversion - Knowledge of Bug Tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Trac, etc) - Experience with Scripting languages (shell, bash, Perl, Python, etc) - Experience developing and implementing build release practices and procedures Experience managing multiple configuration files and releases in multiple deployment environments - *Thanks & regards* *Praveen Kumar* *Sr. Lead Recruiter & Sales* *KLN**tek* 324 E.
