*Job Title: System Administrator* *Location: Washington, DC* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Required Skills:* Maintain RedHat Enterprise Linux servers in Production environment and proactively monitor and administer production and test servers Coordinate with various hardware and software vendors to troubleshoot the hardware and software issues related to RedHat OS, HP and DELL servers Monitor health of production servers using OpenNMS, Splunk and dotcom-monitor for hardware, network and software related issues and resolved them. Install, maintain and Troubleshooting Apache Hadoop for mapreduce process and data storage to support large data centric applications. Configure disks for RAID and logical volumes for file system needs. Perform deployments in Production Environments. Participate in release cycles, Involving in end-end workflow validations of proprietary applications Database Installation, Troubleshoot and Hardware support for MySQL, MongoDB, Hbase, and Couchbase systems. Install, configure and administer application servers such as apache-tomcat and Jetty servers. Provide 24/7 on-call support for production systems in weekly shift basis. Write shell scripts for automation tasks in bash. Schedule jobs using crontab and Azkaban.
