Modifying and maintaining existing applications on Hadoop Key Skills Experience in application development using the technologies Java/J2EE, RDBMS, Linux/Unix. Good understanding of Core Java programming and technologies (JDBC, JNI, JTA, Servlet etc.), Working experience with large scale Hadoop environments build and support including design, configuration, installation, performance tuning and monitoring. Proven experience in Hadoop framework, HDFS, MapReduce processing implementation. Hands-on experience with the overall Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, Map Reduce, Pig/Hive, Hbase etc). Hands on experience in application development using Java/J2EE, Perl, JSP, XML. Experience with job/workflow scheduling and monitoring tools like oozie, Zookeeper.
