Routing (BGP) 2. Load balancing 3. Firewall 4. Linux (not looking for an expert but some hands on experience required) *As far as equipment, this is what we use:* 1. Cisco ASR 2. Cisco Nexus 5k/2k 3. A10 Networks (load balancers) 4. Fortigate & Linux firewalls · Experience with enterprise sized networks and high availability environments; · Provides Firewall, Load Balancing and Switching hardware/software engineering support; · Troubleshoots firewall, load balancer and connectivity and email systems; · Solid foundation on network concepts: OSI model, TCP stack – CCNP or CCNA is desirable; · Monitors network performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades; · Makes recommendations to ensure compliance with business continuity plan; · Maintain documentation for network support processes and procedures to provide timely and efficient customer support; · Continually reviews, identifies and suggests improvements to existing processes to ensure that network administration is optimized; · Concrete understanding of: switching, routing, subnetting, load balancing, DNS, mail; · Participates in the evaluation of network related hardware/software products.
